A Heart for Home is a really good book. This one is about Astrid the youngest child of Ingborg. In this book Astrid has become a Doctor and has gone to an Indian reservation to treat the Indians who are dieing of measles.
The man she thought she might marry hates Indians and also dislikes the thought of her work coming first. She is thinking that she might have to completely give up the idea of being a wife and mother. Will she find someone who can love her for herself? You will have to read the book to find out!
I have now read all of the books about Blessing North Dakota. They start with the Red River of the North Series , go on to Return to Red River Series
, then Daughters of Blessing Series
and then this Home to Blessing Series
. They tell the story of a pioneer family from the time they immigrate to the U.S. to this one…where the youngest daughter has grown.
I have loved every one of them and strongly recommend them to anyone. They are wonderful christian books about family and love of god as well as survival.
