The UGLee Pen is an ergonomic pen designed by Dr. Lee. It is designed to provide comfort and eliminate pain while writing. He got the idea because his hand would hurt when taking notes in medical school.
He wanted to make a pen that would be easier to hold and that would cause less pain for people who have problems gripping small items such as pens. And of course for anyone who has to take gobs of notes every day like doctors do. It took him 8 years to make the UGLee Pen.
The name comes from the initials of Ultimate Grip and the inventors name. The pen is not ugly! It is actually a nice looking pen and you can get it in several different colors. I think the green ones are the prettiest.
This pen has a covering that is very soft and sort of squishy. It made me think of gummy bears at first. It is easy to hold and cushions the pen in your hand. It also makes the pen a lot harder to drop. And it doesn’t roll off the table if it is dropped like normal pens do. I haven’t had to hunt around on the floor for this one yet.
This is also the smoothest writing pen I have come across in ages. I wrote a whole page with no splotches or blots or skipping at all. And my hand didn’t hurt! This really is a comfort pen.
The ones I received to review have blue ink. You can also get black and red inks. You can buy ink refills separately as well so you don’t have to just buy whole new pens when you run out of ink.
My husband tried it too and he liked it. We are both pen freaks. He grabs pens from everywhere…he gets a lot of them free from promoters so we have tried a lot of different pens. This is a good one.
Dr. Lee is very generously giving one of you the chance to try the UGLee pen for yourselves!
