Fit Moms For Life By Dustin Maher Review And Giveaway

December 18, 2011

Fit MomFit Moms For Lifes For Life: How to Have Endless Energy to Outplay your Kids is a book about getting fit for the rest of your life. It is addressed to moms but it will work for anyone and everyone who wants to do the work.

Dustins approach to fitness is sustainable over the long haul and can easily fit into a busy life.

It covers what Dustin calls the five pillars of health: your mindset, nutrition, strength training, burst training, and environment.

I really liked that this book covers all the bases. It talks about nutrition and gives some tips on how to change your diet to be healthier and lose weight.

Some of those tips are to NEVER eat carbs by themselves, to always eat breakfast, to eat several smaller meals during the day, and to drink lots of water.

The books includes sample exercises as well. These can be done at home and the equipment for them can be gotten for around $50 or less. Which is really great for me since I don’t have the money to join a gym right now.

There are lots of stories from Moms who have changed their lives along with tips from each one that¬† might be helpful to other moms. I really liked those. Several of the women were my age or close to it. So it isn’t just the “young” women that can do this.

I am planning to try this program myself. I have to start slow because I’m not at all fit at the moment. This looks like a really good program for people like me. It would work for anyone though…no matter where you start from.

Hi,
Love the review of this book. Really sounds like a good one to have. The book brings back memories of when my three children were young and how any time to myself was treasured. However, it was also the best days of my life. I certainly enjoyed being the mother of such sweet children. Sally
