Revenge of the Vegetarian by Jim Tilberry Review

Cover picture of Revenge of the Vegetarian by Jim Tilberry.Revenge of the Vegetarian A Humorous Spin on the World of Vegetarianism by Jim Tilberry with Patricia Van Winkle  is a really fun book to read.

It is only 70 pages long and is broken down into short chapters with titles such as Coming Out, Converted Carnivores, Respect My Tofu, and the Rise of the Vegocrats.

It didn’t take me very long to read it and I enjoyed every minute of it. It pokes fun at people. People who eat. So if you don’t eat you are pretty much safe. Otherwise…he is poking fun at you!

I did see myself in a few of these jabs. That was part of what made it such a good read. You also learn quite a bit about vegetarianism while getting your funny bone poked.

Before reading this book I had NO idea there were so many different kinds of vegetarians. I had in fact never heard of Lacto Wacko Vegetarians(for the book).

The book is now available on Amazon for $11.95.

Hi thanks for this book review, it looks interesting and I also have never heard of lacto wacko vegetarians!

I’m interested in talking to the female author of the book about her unpublished books, don’t suppose you know how I would get hold of her?

    Thanks, Louisa

Sounds like a good book. I like the Leonard Cohen poem A Person Who Eats Meat:

    A person who eats meat
wants to get his teeth into something
A person who does not eat meat
wants to get his teeth into something else
If these thoughts interest you for even a moment
    you are lost

Even if you’re not a vegetarian, but you have the same off the wall sense of humor as me, you’ve got to take a peek at this giggle worthy book.
