We saw several flocks of birds consisting of hundreds flying north the other day. That seemed really weird because they are supposed to fly south this time of year…or so I thought. After doing some research it seems that a few different species have started to fly north in the winter the past few years. The bird experts are not sure why but seem to think it has to do with the weather being warmer.

I also came across some posts on bulletin boards regarding swallows. Many of the common swallows are apparently dieing as well as many songbirds. This is sad.
