Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff in Love: Simple Ways to Nurture and Strengthen Your Relationships while Avoiding the Habits That Break Down Your Loving Connection contains some really good advice. It has 100 short chapters…each on a different subject. I liked that they are short and on specific topics. You can read one chapter in just a few minutes.
I really liked chapter 3. Let It Go Already; which is as the title says about letting go of things…don’t hold grudges for something that happened last year or even last month…just let it go!
I also liked Chapter 6. Throw Away Your Scorecard; in which they say you shouldn’t keep score of who is doing the most or the least in a relationships…because it changes over time and keeping score only causes frustration and and anger.
Other chapters are about things like taking responsibility for your own happiness, being kind, and allowing your partner to be human.
Some of the things they talk about are things that I would not have thought of on my own. It is a good book and I would recommend it to anyone in a relationship. Which basically is everyone!
