Mrs. Renfro’s Gourmet Salsas Review

I got the chance to pick out 4 jars of Mrs. Renfro’s products to review and I jumped at it.

There were 30 different choices and many of them I had no idea what they were. I have only had plain old salsa’s before…and it was hard to choose.

I chose the Green Tomato Pickles, the Nacho Cheese Sauce, the Pomegranate Salsa, and the Green Salsa.

I picked the Green Tomato Pickles because I have had those at a restaurant and liked them. They were really good. The jar didn’t even last a whole day. I think maybe Mrs. Renfro’s should sell them by the gallon. These are really good!

The Nacho Cheese Sauce I chose because I love nachos. I get them at the fair whenever we go and sometimes at Taco Bell.  If you pour this over a paper plate of chips you can pretend you are at a carnival. It is good too.

The Pomegranate Salsa I chose because of hearing all the stories about how pomegranate is good for you and because I do like Pomegranate juice. It has a sort of sweetness to it that is really nice. It makes a great dip just by itself.

The Green Salsa I didn’t care for. I wasn’t paying enough attention when I ordered it I guess. I didn’t realise it was going to be HOT! Jelepenos do that of course. I tried it and my mouth started screaming at me….I think it was calling me really bad names.

My family hasn’t ever eaten much really hot or spicey stuff so I’m not used to that. If you actually like that sort of thing I’m sure it would be good too.

You can find some recipes on thier website and follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

  1. We absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for. Does one offer guest writers to write content available for you? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome blog!

  2. I remember my old aunty used to make salsa not for a business for a all her relative that really like her recipe. Hope to find this brand in our place.
