What Are You Thankful For?

Picture of a backed turkey.
One thing I’m thankful for is that I don’t have to cook the turkey! My mom is doing it again this year for our family dinner.

I’m thankful for the family that will be eating with us too. Especially my mother. She is cooking after all! There are lots of other things I love her for too. She is the one who taught me how to read! And cook. And housekeeping. How to balance a checkbook. Lots of things.

I’m thankful for my hubby too. He takes out the trash and mows the lawn and helps keep the bed warm. And makes me laugh.

I’m thankful for my dogs who also make me laugh a lot and sometimes drive me nuts wanting attention when I’m busy doing something else.

I’m thankful for the warm house and my books and the computer oh and electricity! A few years back I had to go without electricity for 17 days during an ice storm. I never want to do that again and I know how those folks in the northeast are feeling about that.

There are lots of things to be thankful for here in Northeast Arkansas. For now anyway.

How about you? What are you thankful for this year? Please let us know in the comments!
