Practicing Procrastination

I love to procrastinate. Especially if it involves dusting or dish washing.

That is mostly laziness right there. Other procrastination involves boredom…or fear.

Sometimes I’ll have a book review and it turns out that the book was harder to get into than I expected or wasn’t quite what I thought it would be…and then I tend to put off finishing it and the review.

And sometimes when I know darned well I NEED to get a post written….I just don’t think there is anything to say that anyone would want to read. My mind is blank or what is on my mind doesn’t seem that important.

So basically I’m afraid to post some things.

The weird thing about that is that some of the blogs I really love to read are only about everyday things like cleaning a kitchen or weeding a garden.

So I guess it isn’t really the subject matters that I don’t think are worth the effort…but that I don’t believe I can make those subjects seem interesting.

So I put it off. And some never get done at all.

I’m working on getting over that. I don’t think I’ll ever give up procrastination completely though.

So do you procrastinate?

Be sure and check out the other posts in the Because Prompts Are Fun link up at Tales From The Nursery.

    1. Alright! Alright! I’m getting better at it. Maybe by this time next year I’ll be over the procrastination bug…but then again I might put it off ’till year after next…
