It is absorbent. Very absorbent. I used it on a couple of spills in the kitchen. It picked up the mess better than the regular dish towels and it dries quickly.
I really like that it is thin and can be rolled up pretty tight. I could stuff it in my purse to carry if needed.
Or if you are a busy mom with lots of baby stuff to carry around it will not take up much room in your bag and you will have it for those emergencies (spilled juice or leaky diapers) that always seem to happen at the worst possible times.
The towel is micro-fibre made of 80% Polyester and 20% Nylon and is really soft. It can be machine washed and dried. Mine has been though the washing machine and dryer once and came out just fine.
I would have liked to have more choices of colors…but the colors they do have are nice.
