Deception By Stacy Claflin Review

Cover of Deception by Stacy Claflin.I really enjoyed reading Deception. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read it at first but then I went to the book site and read the excerpts and that got me interested. I wanted to know what was going on!

The story is about a teenage girl named Alexis who starts out feeling jealous and mistreated because her family treats her sister better. She later finds out that part of that was her own fault but part of it was because they were not her real family.

Weird things start happening around her and she eventually finds out she is a vampire. Not a horror movie vampire though…these are civilized vampires and she is a member of the ruling family.

Now I did get a bit irritated with her a few times.  After she learns she is a princes and has a destiny” she seems to get a bit smug sometimes. Of course she is still a teenager and they often seem to think they are untouchable and that nothing bad can happen.

This is a really good read and I want to know what happens next. So it is a really good thing this is the first book in a series!

The series is called The Transformed and has about 7 books in it so far.
