Vegetarian Weight Loss by Jonathan Vine is a very informative book.
It is not just about losing weight. It is about healthy eating…which leads to losing weight.
Which is the best way to do it anyway. Because we all know (those of us that have “dieted”) that no matter how much you lose…it doesn’t really count unless it stays lost. And most of the time…it doesn’t stay lost on a “diet”.
So the author of this book first talks about why you should you change the way you eat. To Be Healthy.
Then he talks about the various ways you can change your diet.
Apparently there are lots of different types of vegetarians. Some only eat plants…others eat eggs and cheese and can drink milk. There are even some who will eat fish and sea food but no other meats.
And of course there are some who are not really vegetarian…just mostly vegetarian.
That is what I’m going to be starting off with. Just trying to cut down on the amount of meat we eat. All kinds of meat but mainly the pork and beef.
Not only are those the most fattening ones…they are also the most expensive. The change will be good for our health and our wallets.
This book also contains some recipes you can use to start out with. He includes recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So you are pretty much covered.
