I wanted to try this screen door because bugs keep getting in our house through the screen on the sliding glass door, because it doesn’t always close correctly, and if we are not paying attention it can be open for hours.
Which means lots of flies and mosquitoes get in the house. Of course the best solution would be to get it fixed but that would cost a lot of money. We have gotten a lot better about checking it over the summer but sometimes we (and by we I mean me) get in a hurry and forget.
So I thought having a screen on the bedroom door would be good. That way at least the bugs wouldn’t get in the bedroom, and eat us alive in our sleep.
I was right too. It did help. A lot.
I like this magnetic screen door.
It would have been nice if it was a couple of inches longer and not so wide, so it would look better on the door frame, but looks are not that big a deal in my house. It isn’t as if anything here actually matches.
It does the job. Since we put that up there have not been hardly any bugs in the bedroom.
The top corner of the screen did come down once, but that may have been my fault. It is hard to stick something up on the wall when you can barely reach it. I probably didn’t apply enough pressure the first time. It has not come loose since being put back up.
The dogs have not had a problem with it and the magnetic closure works great. It is a good screen door, and can be put up pretty much anywhere. It fits doors up to 34″ x 82″.
They do offer a money back guarantee as well.
