This 4x3motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology from Ozeri is really neat. It records how many steps you take, and can tell you how far you walked, and how many calories you burned walking.
You have to program it with your weight and your stride. It needs that information to figure out how far you walked and how many calories you burned.
One of the things I liked most about this is that keeps records for a week, so you can compare how far you walked each day, or keep an average for that week.
It will work in your bag, your pocket, or attached to your belt. I just put mine in my pocket and left it there. That was easiest for me since just about everything I own has pockets. It works in skirts or pants. I know this because I used it in the pockets of both.
What I found out is that I need to be walking a lot more. You are supposed to take about 10,000 steps a day to maintain health and for the most part I was coming in quite a bit under that.
Using this pedometer helps keep me motivated to move more. It is a good thing to have if you are trying to improve your health.
Or learning how to run.
I received a free product to review. My opinion is my own.
