And that is without having any synthetic man made vitamins added to it.
After all this molasses grown nutritional yeast has an abundance of vitamins of nutrients already that are “are 100% whole food based and naturally occurring”.
Sari Foods says :
Our nutritional yeast is comprised of 50% protein (a complete, bioavailable and vegan source), over 20% fiber, contains all 18 amino acids and 15 different minerals (including iron, selenium and zinc) as well as a natural vitamin B-complex and Beta-glucans (known for their extreme immune enhancing properties).
That does sound good doesn’t it?
It tastes good too. Even by itself. It has a cheesy taste and is really great added to eggs. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, and omelets anyway. I haven’t tried it on anything else really. I’m planning to try it on broccoli (and anything else that I like cheese with) but haven’t cooked any lately.
You can download an ebook from the Sari Foods website that has a bunch of recipes using the nutritional yeast.
I received a free product to review.
