They have a large number of frames to choose from and lots of different colors. I looked at several hundred before I decided on this pair of Private Eyes Thixie Readers.
They also have prescription glasses and sunglasses, so next time my husband needs new glasses we will likely get them online. They are cheaper than ordering from the eye doctor.
I love the case these came in! It is a hard plastic case with a flip top lid.
The case also came with a plastic cover to protect it from damage. The glasses themselves were also protected by a plastic baggie sort of thing. I like that. Don’t think anything less than being stomped on or run over by a truck during shipping would hurt them.
I got this pair because of the design on the sides. My pictures are a bit blurry but you can still see it.
They seem to be really well made glasses. Much better then the ones I had, which were the very cheap ones you get from a dollar store.
I was buying cheap ones because our newest puppy was going through that “chewing on everything” stage of life, and it took me a long time to get to where I would remember to put my glasses up where she could not get to them. I lost about 5 pair. The first pair that got chewed up was more expensive and I got really upset when she chewed them up. She has grown out of that now, so I really wanted a nice pair.
They look pretty good on me don’t they?
Here is a side view.
You can get free shipping in the U.S. and Canada or pay for expedited shipping. They also ship to over a hundred other countries around the world. They do accept PayPal.
I received a free pair of reading glasses to review.
You can have it out on your table, or desk, as a paperweight, so it is handy whenever you need it.
Of you can just set it out somewhere as a decorative item. It is really pretty.
The best thing about it though is that it is a magnifying glass.
I took that picture of it on a paperback book with fairly small print. The print is a lot bigger looking through the glass. I do wish it was an inch or so wider, so it would cover the enter page(of a mass market paperback).
Most of the time you really need something like that for reading the small print on mail (that is what I mainly use it for). It seems like just about everything I get in the mail these days has small print down at the bottom of the page, that I can barely see even with my glasses on.
Using this magnifying paperweight makes a big difference.
It comes in a really nice black gift box, with a shiny black lining too. The gift box makes it looks really expensive.
I am glad to have it. I received a free or discounted product to review.

Or just forget to carry them with you? I do that all the time and it is very annoying.
Not being able to read something without going back to get your glasses gets really old. And if you happen to be away from home then you are pretty much stuck.
i4ULenses can fix that problem for you!
These are portable reading glasses that will fit in your wallet. Or your purse or your pocket. They will even fit in your hatband!
So you wouldn’t have any problem carrying them anywhere you go. If you are going out in the yard or garden just put a pair in your pocket(in case you end up needing to read a packet of seeds or something).
Have a pair in your purse in case you are in the store and need to read a label.
I have reading glasses all over the house and these little glasses are great for those rooms or cars where you only need glasses occasionally. Sticking a pair in your glove box is a good idea too.
The only thing that might be a problem is if you wanted to use them on the beach or when out in the yard. They do not stay on if you have sunscreen on your nose or if you get really sweaty.
These are flexible so if you accidentally step on them or something it probably won’t hurt them. They actually have a guarantee that if your i4ulenses break within a year they will replace them.
The glasses are one size fits all(adjustable) and come in several diopters. I need 1.50 for reading on the computer but stronger ones for books. These work well and they are not heavy.
If you order a pair(or two or three) be sure to mention that you heard about them on Simple Wyrdings and they will send you a free hard case!

A clinical study done at the Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, Japan was reported in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and showed that creams containing Vitamin K, Retinol, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C reduced dark circles under the eyes as well as wrinkles.
Ageless Derma keeps a close eye on skin care research and they have come out with an anti-aging eye cream that contains all those ingredients.
This Ageless Derma eye cream targets the dark circles under the eyes, puffy eyes, and the wrinkles around the eyes all at the same time. The Vitamin K is supposed to help get rid of discoloration and the Retinol helps reduce wrinkles and increase elasticity.
You are supposed to use it on clean dry skin 3 times a week (starting off) and progressing to daily use (if needed).
This cream is really thick and rich feeling. The instructions say to use one pump but that seemed like an awful lot of cream to me. It did soak into the skin and it feels really good.
The skin around my eyes felt really soft after use and since I tend to have dry skin in the winter that was nice.
It does help with the dark circles under the eyes. With regular use they fade a lot. Of course one sleepless night might set you back but a good nights sleep and another application of the cream helps that too.
I did not notice any fewer wrinkles though. At least not yet. Most creams take longer than a couple of weeks to really help with those so if I keep using it that might change.
I love this stuff. It feels good going on and your face keeps on feeling good for a long time after you use it.
It is also fun to use. The Mia Mariu Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser foams up similar to shaving cream and it feels really good on your face. It also has a wonderful scent. I loved the smell of the cleanser so much that I would use it just for that.
It does a good job of cleaning too. It contains natural cleaning agents as well as Sea Kelp and Aloe to help keep your skin from drying out. It is really gentle and suitable for sensitive skin.
One of the things I really like about it is that it has no sulfates and is oil-free.
The Anti-Aging Brightening Serum helps improve skin clarity. It contains peptides, skin brightening botanicals, and vitamin B5 complex as well as aloe. It is supposed to help get rid of fine lines and wrinkles.
I tried to take some before and after pictures but none of them were clear enough to actually see the wrinkles. It does make a difference. It may be that my skin was just really dry before and this has kept it moisturized enough that the wrinkles don’t show as much…but however it works is good for me!
That just means I will have to keep using it.
I really really loved the Anti-Aging Eye Treatment. It just feels so thick and creamy and my skin just seemed to drink it up. It doesn’t take much but it soaks in and the skin around my eyes just looks better.
The Eye Cream contains Japenese Green Tea as well as Aloe and vitamins B5 and E to help reduce dark circles and puffiness. I haven’t ever noticed any puffiness around my eyes but I did have the dark circles and the eye cream does seem to have helped that.
I have only used these items for a couple of weeks and I expect that it really takes at least that long to make a real difference. So I’m gonna keep using it.
Even if it doesn’t actually improve my looks it does make me feel good. And smell good. My hubby loves the smell of it.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I like this Infographic from Lenstore.co.uk. It has some interesting facts in it. The only one I already knew was that 20/20 vision means my vision is “normal”. Which is funny because the way people usually say 20/20 it seems like it should be something special.
I had no idea that having blue eyes meant that I shared an ancestor with every other blue eyed person in the world. That is pretty neat…means I’m actually distant kin to some of you guys!
I didn’t know that you blink less when you are reading either. So that’s why reading too much at one time without a break can make me feel worn out. Now I know to take more breaks!
There are some other great eye facts in the full article.
