This beautiful Christmas Trivet Runner from Anna Stay will protect your table from hot or cold and look lovely too.
It is 40 inches long and 12 inches wide, so most serving bowls or platters will fit easily, and it will cover the middle of most tables.
It can handle up to 300 degrees heat and is insulated to protect your table. It will help keep the items hot longer too. Or cold if you place cold items on it. You can put both cold and hot items on it, but not too close to each other.
This one is made especially for Christmas. It has a lovely holiday design and is red.
That is not going to prevent us from using it for Thanksgiving Dinner this year, as well as our Christmas Dinner. It can be used at any time if you don’t mind the decorations.
I actually got this for my Mom to use for our holiday dinners. She is the one who does most of the cooking still. She really likes it. It will replace a couple of trivets and some pot holders on the table. The table will look a lot better this year without all the mismatched items.
The table runner is easy to clean. Just wipe it with a soapy rag. Roll it up and store it in a drawer till you need it again.

So all you moms are already blessed, even if it is hard to remember, when the dirty clothes are piling up, everyone wants something different to eat, homework needs to be done, no one wants to go to bed on time, and hubby is upset cause you are too tired to pay attention to him.
Mother’s Day is when everyone is supposed to make a special effort to remember that Moms are also a blessing. After all without her you wouldn’t exist. And if you are still alive, she managed to raise you without killing you, so far.
I call that a major accomplishment myself. So we make mom breakfast, and/or give her gifts (or at least a hug) on this day, just to show we appreciate all she has done for us.
I have this cup for my mom:
Because she is the Best Mom Ever.
I also have this necklace:
It sparkles in the sunshine. I think she will like it. Probably won’t wear it very often because she doesn’t get dressed up very often anymore, but that is besides the point.
It is something different, and unusual, and pretty. Special. Like her.
They come in lots of colors which is really neat. I took a picture of the package before I opened it because it looked so pretty.
Then of course you open the package and have a pile of color. I especially like the green and orange ones.
These come in packs of 50 so you will have plenty of them to share with your family. I took some of each color to my mom, because she is always using nail files, and always needing more of them. That is partly ’cause she can’t always find one when she needs it. Now she has enough to put around the house so she can always find one.
I put some in different places in my house too. By my recliner, in each bathroom, by the beds, and in the kitchen.
These also come in different grits. So you can find one for just about anything you need.
These can be used for things other than nails. I have used them on my hearing aid molds, and on my dentures, and they can be used on small items in the house if you don’t have sandpaper handy.
These are made in the USA and are 3.5 inches long by 1/2 of an inch wide. They are easy to hold and use.
I received this item at a heavily discounted price to review.
It has three different modes: Normal, Soft, and Pulse.
Normal is too strong for me, and I recommend you set it to soft the first time you use it. I didn’t even think about that before I turned it on the first time and it actually hurt a little bit. I have sensitive teeth so most of you guys might be fine with the strong. I mostly use the soft setting.
I also made a mess. I ended up with water all over the counters.
After that it was actually fun. Much better than regular floss, and it does get the bits and pieces out from in between your teeth too. And gives your gums a bit of a massage.
There is a big water tank on it that is easy to fill, and it is rechargeable. It comes with the recharging cord, so when necessary just plug it in for a while.
It comes with two nozzles so more than one person can use it. The instructions say to replace the nozzles every 6 months.
I like using this flosser and expect my dentist to be happier with me the next time I see him. I received a free or discounted product to review.
This one sounded like a really good mystery. I decided to check it out, and am currently reading. Only got to the third chapter, and it is good so far. I will be posting a review in a couple of weeks, so you need to come back and find out what I thought of it.
Since inheriting her mother’s sandwich shop, Nora Charles is more about hot grilled paninis than cold-blooded murder—until her sister Lacey is arrested. The victim, an esteemed art collector and Lacey’s bullying professor, was stabbed in the heart. Apparently, all over a lousy grade.
Off campus, things were just as dicey. The prof had an ex with secrets, a trophy wife set to inherit a fortune in masterworks, and a scorned student mistress. Going undercover, Nora realizes that investigating this crime is the biggest test of her sleuthing career. Because if she fails, even Nick’s animal instinct won’t be enough to rescue Lacey from a perfectly executed framing.

I have never been to a spa, but I have been in a couple of fancy hotels. At least they seemed pretty fancy to me.
This is the sort of shower head you will see in those hotels.
It looks really nice. Very shiny.
My husband installed it in less than 5 minutes and got right in the shower to try it out.
He really liked it. I had told him before he got in there that if he didn’t like it we could take it back out, and let my parents try it. That is not gonna happen. If they want to try it they will have to come over here.
He loved the different settings. There are a LOT of different combos, so everyone in the family should be able to find a setting they like.
According to the features list it has:
• 30 full and Combined Water Flow Patterns
• 6-Setting 6 Inch Rainfall Shower Head
• 6-Setting 4 Inch Hand Shower
• High-Power Precision SpiralFlo Dial Design
• Settings of Each Shower Include: Power Rain, Pulsating Massage, Hydrating Mist, Rain/Massage, Rain/Mist and Water-saving Economy Rain
• 3-Zone Click Lever Dial with Rub-clean Jets
• Patented 3-Way Water Diverter with Anti-swivel Lock Nut
Solitaire Games are great for those times when you need a distraction that doesn’t take up all your attention.
Like if you are waiting for a phone call, or if you have the app you can play it at the doctors office while waiting.
I can’t really read in situations like that because I tend to get into the book and not pay attention to whats going on around me. So playing cards is a good alternative.
The BVS Solitaire Collection has a LOT of different types of solitaire games. More than 400. Those include Klondike and Spider Solitaire which are the ones I’m most familiar with.
It has Cruel, which is also one of my favorites. I had not been able to find that particular game after I upgraded my computer, and this collection works on Win 7, 8, and 10. It also has a Mac version, and iPhone/iPad/iPod apps.
The only thing I didn’t really care for was the lack of a hint button, but I finally figured out how to get it to show you the next move. That is only for when I’m totally stuck and it is either that or quit, of course.
This is a really nice collection of games. It is a simple program that works. There are a lot of design options. I actually like the default but you can change the background and a few other things.
