Give Her A Beautiful 24K Gold And Red Crystal Rose

A lovely rose made of red crystal and 24k gold by Matashi.Real roses are beautiful, but they fade and have to be thrown out. This beautiful 24K Gold and Red Crystal Rose will never fade. It will be just as lovely 20 years from now. Probably a lot longer than that, with proper care.

This is a truly beautiful piece. It has two stems, one to a fully opened rose, and one to a bud. It is very well crafted. The leaves have the little ridges and the small petals under the bloom are there. The whole thing is shiny gold, with that lovely red crystal in the center.

Gold and Crystal Rose from Matashi Crystals.

The rose is bigger than I expected it to be. The dimensions are: 4.1 x 2.7 x 2.5 inches (weighs 4.8 ounces). It is very pretty and shiny. When the light hits the crystal it sparkles. I love it.

Red Crystal and Gold Rose from Matashi Crystals.I had to take it outside and let the sunshine hit it. Any light sparkles on it, but the sun makes it look like the crystal is sort of glowing, and the gold just sparkles. If I was gonna keep it, it would go on one of the window sills, so the light would hit it all the time.

But since my moms birthday is coming up next month, this is going to be one of her gifts. I’m pretty sure she will love it as much as I do.

It would make a lovely gift for Christmas, Mother’s Day, or Valentines Day too. I don’t think there is a woman alive who wouldn’t like it, so any occasion will do. Or none for that matter.

It comes in a very nice box that won’t even need wrapping.

Matashi Crystals gift box.The rose itself was wrapped in pretty tissue paper.

Tissue paper wrapping the Matashi Crystal Rose.Which was inside a pretty cloth draw-string bag.

Bag holding the Matashi Rose. They don’t take any chances on it getting damaged in shipping. I loved opening it. It was fun to remove each layer, and then finally see the prize.

This lovely rose is crafted by Matashi Crystals. They also make a lot of other beautifully crafted items including figurines, music boxes, and tableware.  To check out all their products visit the categories page on the Matashi website.

Matashi products are covered by a 100% Money-Back satisfaction guarantee and craftsmanship is guaranteed under a 2 year limited warranty.

Please follow Matashi on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Do You Love Spring Flowers?

I love spring flowers. I wish they would last longer.

I found a beautiful statement necklace that is crafted to look like spring flowers. So you can have your flowers all year, and even wear them.

So even in the winter you can look like spring. Add some perfume and you will smell like spring too.

The necklace is from IDGirl Jewelry and comes in a very pretty box, so it is all ready for gift giving. It would make a wonderful gift for Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Birthdays, or just any old day at all.

Spring Flower Necklace from IDGirl Jewelry. It sparkles in the sunshine. It has a lot of different colors in it so it will match pretty much anything you wear.

Me wearing the Spring Flowers Necklace from IDGirl Jewelry.

It looked really nice on me. It is a bit heavy, so that will take some getting used to if you don’t normally wear heavy jewelry.

It has a bit of extra chain on the hook so you can make it a bit looser if you want.

IDGirl Jewelry is hypoallergenic. They say it is lead free and nickel free, so it won’t turn your neck green.

I gave it to my mom for Mother’s Day. She really liked it. She said that someone took a lot time to do all the detailing on it. I agree.

I received a free or discounted product to review.

Mother’s Day Blessings

The Bible says that children are a blessing.

So all you moms are already blessed, even if it is hard to remember, when the dirty clothes are piling up, everyone wants something different to eat, homework needs to be done, no one wants to go to bed on time, and hubby is upset cause you are too tired to pay attention to him.

Mother’s Day is when everyone is supposed to make a special effort to remember that Moms are also a blessing. After all without her you wouldn’t exist. And if you are still alive, she managed to raise you without killing you, so far.

I call that a major accomplishment myself. So we make mom breakfast, and/or give her gifts (or at least a hug) on this day, just to show we appreciate all she has done for us.

I have this cup for my mom:

Best Mom Ever Cup

Because she is the Best Mom Ever.

I also have this necklace:

IDGirl Statement Necklace

It sparkles in the sunshine. I think she will like it. Probably won’t wear it very often because she doesn’t get dressed up very often anymore, but that is besides the point.

It is something different, and unusual, and pretty. Special. Like her.

What are you doing for Mother’s Day?

During the first half of June, from the 1st to the 15th, visit each of the blogs listed below (bottom of the post), and enter to win some fabulous prizes for dad.

Each of the participating bloggers is hosting a giveaway worth at least $25.

I’m giving away two prize packages. One prize package is a $100 Gift Card to YourNovel.com.

YourNovel.com Logo.

You could buy dad a book that features him as the main character.  If dad is a golfer you could make him the main character in Sandhills Fore Play, a book that takes place at a golf course.

Sandhills Fore Play cover.I did a review of one of their books (Danger In Dublin) back in 2013 and then did another review (A Ren Faire To Remember) in 2014.  These are neat books that put you (or Dad),  in the story as the main character. You just fill out a questionnaire with such details as your name, eye color, type of vehicle, and favorite song, and they add all those details into the book. These books make great gifts.

This gift card can be used for electronic or print books, the winner just has to make sure that the total cost, including shipping, is under $100. That being so, this prize is open to anyone anywhere (if it is legal where you live).

The other package contains a Grab N’ Go and two Golf Books by Fred Fields. This package is only open to entrants in the US.

Smoke Grab N' GoFor information about the Grab N’ Go (RV$24.95) please read my review.

The golf books are both by Fred Fields. One of them is How Short Hitting, Bad Golfers Break 90 All the Time , and you can read my review here.

How Short Hitting Bad Golfers Break 90 All The Time by Fred FieldsThe other is How I Cut 50 Strokes Off My Golf Scores.

Cover of How I Cut 50 Strokes Off My Golf Scores. Both would make wonderful gifts for a dad who likes golf.

Just enter on the Rafflecopter from below.  If the first winner chosen is in the US then they get to pick which prize they want, if the first winner is outside the US then they will get the Gift Card.

My Resolve – No Resolutions!

Happy New Year.I know it is a couple of days early but some folks are getting a head start on the celebrating.  A few people will be partying from now all the way through the weekend.

Me, I’m gonna stay home and read a good book. Maybe watch some TV. Probably go to bed early.

Partying is for young folks. I can’t handle it anymore. Well not the sort of partying my friends used to do anyway.

Could just be I need some new (older) friends.

Anyway I’m not making any resolutions this year. There’s just no point to it. Two weeks from now I’ll already be backsliding and getting ticked off at myself. I don’t need the aggravation.

So this year my only resolution is not to make any resolutions. We will just have to wait and see if I manage to stick with that one or not.

It ought at least be a bit easier than all those old resolutions to lose weight, keep the house clean and neat, be nice to everyone all the time, get all my posts done early, this, that, and the other.

Have you made any resolutions this year? What were they if so?
